Diagnostics & electrical
Warning lights, no-starts, dead batteries, and intermittent faults, traced to the actual cause instead of fixed by swapping parts until something works.
Common problems we trace
Check-engine & ABS lights
Code reading where supported, followed by pinpoint testing of the sensor, wiring, or component.
Charging & battery
Stator, regulator/rectifier, and battery load testing, plus parasitic draw checks.
No-crank, no-start
Starter circuits, relays, kill switch and side-stand interlocks, fuel and spark.
Wiring repair
Chafed harnesses, corroded connectors, and fixes for past accessory installs.
Lighting
Headlights, turn signals, brake light switches, and hyper-flash issues.
Intermittent faults
Problems that come and go with heat, rain, or vibration, which sometimes need a ride-along test.
How diagnostic time works
You approve a diagnostic time block up front. In that time we verify the complaint, check codes and data, and test the circuit or component.
If we find the cause, you get a repair estimate. If the problem needs more time, which is common with intermittent faults, we call you before continuing.
You'll get notes on what was tested and found, so even if you take the bike elsewhere the work isn't lost.
Questions
Can you just read the code and tell me what's wrong?
A code tells us which circuit or sensor reported a problem, not always why. A sensor code is often a wiring or connector issue rather than a bad sensor, so we test before replacing parts.
My bike won't start. Can you pick it up?
We don't run a transport service, but we can recommend local motorcycle towing and accept bikes dropped off during business hours.
Do you install heated gear and accessory wiring?
Yes. We fuse accessories correctly and route them to avoid future faults. See upgrades & accessories.
Tell us the symptoms.
When it happens, how often, and what changed recently all help.
